In 1997, I was fascinated by the majesty of Hokkaido, which I came to for the first time on a trip, and moved to Asahikawa from Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture in 2000. After moving to Biei, my friend (current wife) guided me to Biei Hill, and I was surprised “Is there such a place in Japan?” And wanted to convey its splendor.
In 2017, I acquired a wonderful land in Biei and set up a residence.
In 2020, I put an end to my life as a civil servant and became the owner of Villa Skavla.
